The trend in recent years has been away from the traditional tented safari to a mass market style, enabling
large numbers of people to see Africa on a budget. Much of the charm has been lost in the process. It is our
aim to provide the original tented camp atmosphere, but with the added convenience of modern transport.
What we offer
We offer three types of safari, all designed to show you ‘real Africa’ at its best, but in comfort and style.
- Private Safaris – the ultimate personalised old style luxury safari tailor-made specifically for your group.
- Special Private Safaris – for family groups, or those with a special interest, such as ornithology, fishing, photography or farming.
- Group safaris offer the best value for those who would like to join others to make up a small group of maximum twelve fellow travellers.
We personally guide all safaris and provide the same attention to detail regardless of which type of safari you choose. I guide the majority of the trips we operate personally, the trips I cannot take personally are guided by a top class guide who helps you decide what you do and see and how you see it – whether you get just long enough with an animal to take a photograph and tick a list, or time to study and discuss its behavior. On a tented safari we decide where and how the camp will be set up and are responsible for maintaining standards and ensuring everyone receives personal attention.
